Vennigo for job seekers (my.vennigo.com) · updated October 28, 2026
Vennigo reads your resume and finds local and remote jobs you can actually get. This page says what we keep, what goes to other services, and how to delete it. In short: we keep only what the job search needs, we never sell it, and you can delete it any time.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, the first name you give us, and your password stored only as a scrambled one-way hash (nobody can read it back). If you sign in with Google, we get only your email address and first name from Google.
- Your search settings: home ZIP code, longest commute, whether you have a car, shift, remote preference and lowest pay.
- Your resume text, with your name, email, phone number and address taken out. Your PDF is read in your own browser and those details are removed there, before anything is sent. We do not keep the PDF.
- Your job list: the jobs we found, their scores and notes, and what you marked saved, applied or hidden.
What goes to other services, and why
- AI (Anthropic's Claude, business API): your cleaned resume text, your search settings (without your ZIP code) and job postings, to work out which jobs fit. Under Anthropic's commercial terms this is not used to train their models.
- Job listing services: job titles and the nearest town to your ZIP code, to search for postings. Nothing about you.
- Google Maps: the center point of your ZIP code (never your address) and job locations, to measure morning drive or transit times.
- Email (Resend): your email address, to send sign-in emails such as "confirm your email" and "reset your password".
We do not sell your information, show you ads, or share it with employers.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to My profile and click Delete my data. Your account, settings, resume text and job list are removed. A cost log of searches is kept as numbers only, with nothing that identifies you.
